Concrete Kiosk

ASTOR brand MV / LV Concrete Distribution and Transformer Centers are designed in accordance with TS EN 62271-202 (IEC 62271-202) standard and in accordance to TEDAŞ MYD related specifications, for use in system voltages up to 36 kV. All the tests required by the standard have been completed in accredited laboratories in Turkey and abroad. Concrete Distribution and Transformer Substations consist of three parts; HV switching unit section, MV distribution transformer section, LV distribution panel section. Each section has its own independent access doors. Different door and ventilation louver configurations can be made according to the requirements.

STRUCTURAL FEATURES

Enclosure

  • The roof of the compact substation is resistant to a load of 2500 N/m².
  • The enclosure is resistant to wind pressure of at least 34 m/s.
  • Ventilation louvers and doors are resistant to a mechanical shock corresponding to 20 Joules (IK10) from both inside and outside.
  • Enclosure Class: 10
  • Concrete transformer substations are proven to be safe against seismic (earthquake) conditions.

Concrete and Steel Reinforcement Specifications

  • C35/45 concrete compliant with TS EN 206-1 standards is used.
  • Quality qualification tests for concrete are periodically performed in accredited laboratories.
  • Steel reinforcements compliant with TS 708 standards are used.

Ventilation Louvers, Doors, and Locking Systems

  • Ventilation louvers and doors are manufactured from 2 mm thick galvanized steel sheets painted with electrostatic powder coating.
  • Doors are designed to remain open at a 120° position and cannot be dismantled from the outside.
  • All locks of the compact substation are designed in a special recessed structure that cannot be removed from the outside and can be locked with a single master key.
